Settlements Coordinator - Regina Head Office From December 11, 2024 AGT Food and Ingredients Inc. is seeking aSettlements Coordinator to join our Regina Head Office team. Duties: Manages workflow ensuring all purchase contracts due for payment are processed, approvals applied and payments distributed in an organized manner Ensure quality communication and dialogue with producers and staff Perform effective verbal and written communication in person, by phone and by email Files, maintains, and distributes accounting documents, contracts and reports Prepares weekly report of purchase contracts due for settlement Ensures all authorizations are complete prior to settling purchase contracts Reconciles grain receipts to purchase contracts and identifies errors or omissions Reconciles regulatory and other deductions applicable to purchase contract Calculates and processes payments based on settlement instructions Investigates and resolves problems associated with settling purchase contracts for payment Processes cheques, wires and EFT payments Prepares monthly reconciliation reports required for the accounting month end close Prepares regulatory reports Performs other duties as required to support the accounting department Provide backup coverage for front desk reception Employment Requirements: Accounting diploma and/or equivalent education or experience Fluent in English - spoken and written Strong listening, speaking, reading and writing skills Ability to multi-task Attention to detail and accurate data entry skills Ability to follow up on pending issues Ability to meet deadlines Strong algebra, problem solving and organizational skills Proficient in Excel, Outlook, and accounting systems Ability to work effectively as a team member AGT Foods values and supports employment equity in the workplace, including accessibility. #J-18808-Ljbffr
