The Digital Delivery Operations Coordinator is responsible for providing quality media operations support to dentsu Media and Performance brands. The role will support designated clients through execution of media operational activities concerning media reconciliation as well as supplier management. The Digital Delivery Operations Coordinator will ensure client-centric focus on best practice, process, and policy alignment, as well as continuous improvement.

Accountabilities:

  • Engage and maintain relationships across Media Operations, and key partners across all Media brands in Canada.
  • Partner with team members and leadership in implementing continuous improvement related to client and campaign delivery to make the process more effective for clients and businesses across Canada.
  • Support brand partners through execution of operational activities involved in campaign delivery – campaign setup, traffic and launch, and optimization.
  • Support client and internal billing by approving client and intercompany invoices.
  • Reconcile media delivered with supplier and resolve mismatched supplier invoices and discrepancies within the designated timeframe.
  • Create reports by extracting and consolidating data into agreed reporting templates (e.g. post-buy report of media delivered and actual spend, recorded in DAN media systems).
  • Provide additional operational support as needed.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements in reconciliation workflows, suggesting and implementing more efficient methods to streamline the reconciliation process and reduce errors.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve reconciliation issues: Investigate and resolve any complex reconciliation issues, including discrepancies in transaction amounts, timing, or missing information, ensuring smooth financial operations.

Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary Degree or Diploma in Media, Advertising, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • Previous experience in digital (programmatic, search and social, direct digital) and/or non-digital (Broadcast and Print and Out-of-Home) media buying and delivery or operations preferred.
  • Excellent time management and ability to help teams meet urgent deadlines.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and build relationships with multiple stakeholders.
  • Ability to drive continuous improvement and best-in-class customer service.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge and proven experience with finance, budgeting, and cost control principles.
  • Previous experience with media systems such as Media Ocean preferred.
  • Advanced Excel Skills: Proficient in using Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions such as VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, pivot tables, data validation, and complex formula creation.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Demonstrated ability to analyze large sets of data, create insightful reports, and generate financial or operational summaries using Excel.
  • Financial Modeling: Experience building and maintaining financial models, budgets, and forecasts using Excel.
  • Data Manipulation & Transformation: Ability to clean, format, and manipulate large datasets, ensuring accurate analysis and reporting.

Additional Information:

The salary range for this position is $40k-$50k. Actual salary within the salary range will be based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, and skills. A range of medical, dental, RRSP, paid time off, and/or other benefits also are available to all permanent employees.
