This position is considered an integral role with the expectation of direct experience and education in construction and accounting, strong analytical skills, and excellent attention to detail.Key Job ResponsibilitiesBachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is an asset.5+ years of relevant experience in project accounting in the construction industry is required.Strong financial management acumen: advanced knowledge of accounting procedures and protocols, budget administration, financial forecasting, analysis, and reportingProven high degree of accuracy, effective time management, strong organizational skillsRelevant understanding of construction management principles and processesStrong skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)Strong skills in Box, Jonas Construction (an asset) or other ERP experienceAbility to multi-task, prioritize activities and work under pressureResults-oriented and ability to take initiativeBarton Malow Canada is an equal opportunity employer, fostering diversity, inclusion and belonging within our organization.
