Position Overview
As Project Executive, you will be accountable for the overall success of projects you oversee. This role will provide daily leadership of their project team(s) and play a crucial role in nurturing our existing client relationships. This role requires strong leadership, project management expertise, and a deep understanding of data center infrastructure. The ideal candidate will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Furthermore, this role will encompass key areas such as business development, organizational management, work methodologies, scheduling, cost control, adherence to drawings and specifications, quality assurance, and task assignment to ensure that projects are completed efficiently and cost-effectively.
The Project Executive will oversee multiple projects, manage project administration, and handle complex, integrated initiatives. They will maintain a Project Manager mindset to ensure accuracy and efficiency from all team members and company representatives, while also fostering a strong relationship with the client.

The compensation range for this full-time position includes base pay and target sales performance incentive. This position has a target total compensation range of $210,000 - $230,000.
Key Responsibilities
- Overall Project Accountability: Ensure complete oversight of the project, aligning with design specifications, budget constraints, and timelines.
- Communication Leader: Facilitate clear and consistent communication among all project stakeholders, including clients, team members, and external partners. Develop and implement communication plans to ensure timely and accurate information flow. Address and resolve any communication barriers or issues that may arise during the project lifecycle.
- Work Planning and Oversight: Plan, direct, and manage divisional work plans, including construction projects and facilities services. Assign tasks to staff, review contracts for compliance, and address discrepancies as needed.
- Capital Planning & Budget Administration: Act as the main liaison for both internal and external stakeholders regarding capital planning and construction efforts. Supervise and help develop budgets for facilities services and construction projects. Monitor expenditures and approve costs as necessary.
- Goal Development and Strategic Planning: Collaborate in the creation and implementation of divisional goals. Recommend and initiate actions to meet these objectives while participating in strategic planning activities.
- Agency Oversight & Contract Management: Serve as the company's representative, providing oversight for all third‑party agencies, vendors, and contractors. Oversee the development of RFQs, RFPs, bids, contracts, and proposals for construction and facility operations. Represent the company in negotiations and administration of contracts with external agencies, vendors, architects, engineers, and operators.
- Safety and Operational Strategies: Develop and implement programs to maintain safe, functional, secure, clean, and orderly facilities, ensuring efficient operations.
- Problem Solving and Implementation: Analyze issues, troubleshoot problems, identify alternative solutions, and implement recommendations to achieve desired outcomes.
- Personnel Management: Select, train, motivate, and evaluate staff. Coordinate training and professional development, counsel employees on performance issues, and implement disciplinary actions when necessary.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering or minimum of 15 years of professional construction experience. Preferred: MBA, Masters in Engineering, Management, or related field desirable.
- Minimum of 10 years Construction Management/Engineering experience with Mission Critical/Data Center or Heavy Industrial background. Preferred: PMP Certification.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale construction projects with strong knowledge of data center design, construction and operational requirements.
- Utilize BIM (Building Information Modeling) to enhance project planning, design and construction processes. Implement BIM standards and protocols to ensure accurate and efficient project execution.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience leading large cross‑functional teams and/or managing people with the ability to assemble and manage productive construction teams in a large GC environment.
Skills
- Construction Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of construction methodologies, CSI building codes, and industry best practices, ensuring compliance and efficiency in project execution.
- Agreement Navigation: Experience with various Owner/Design/Contractor agreements, possessing the expertise to effectively navigate project-related issues within the framework of each agreement.
- Microsoft Office Proficiency: Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite, particularly PowerPoint for presenting program updates to executive leadership and Excel for creating and maintaining site program and individual project budgets.
- Construction Management Software Experience: Intermediate to advanced experience with construction management software, including document control and scheduling tools such as ProCore and P6.
- Technology Proficiency: Intermediate to advanced computer skills, particularly with the Microsoft Suite of products, facilitating efficient project management and communication.
- Cost Proposal Development: Experienced in developing project cost proposals and negotiating terms of agreements between the company and clients, ensuring alignment with project objectives and financial goals.
