About A4K
At Athletics4Kids we believe that every child should have the chance to play. Across BC, hundreds of children and youth are denied the opportunity to participate in amateur sports due to one simple fact: lack of funds. Through our Sport4Life Grant Program, we ensure that kids between the ages of 5-18 can play and participate in sports. Whether that's swimming lessons at the rec center, community lacrosse, or joining a gymnastics club, we provide financial assistance to help low-income families cover registration fees for over 55 non-school-based amateur sports.
What we Offer You
A4K offers a close-knit team dynamic and deeply meaningful work that creates significant social impact throughout our Province. We operate from brand new, co-shared office space in beautiful lower Lonsdale overlooking Vancouver Harbour. Our team of 2 full-time, and 1-2 rotating part-time interns, work on a flexible hybrid schedule. Through regular fundraising events we are involved with, we offer many opportunities for our team to be out in the community engaging with donors, supporters and the families we serve.
