- Proficient in dental anatomy and terminology
- Design full arch interim and final restorations in CAD software
- Ability to meet tight deadlines, while consistently producing quality restorations
- Read work prescriptions and examine cases to determine design of dental restoration
- Scan models or receive scanned models or impressions and import into CAD software
- Prepare design prototypes and coordinate with doctor to obtain final design approval
- Occasional travel to centers to support CAD/CAM training for new technicians and doctors
- Scan, design, and fabricate dental prosthesis using CAD / CAM software and technology
- Scan and design work orders according to Doctors prescription requests, using CAD /CAM technology
- Design dental CAD framework, full contour crowns, bridges, implant abutments, veneers, diagnostic wax ups and implants
- Read, interpret and design dental restorations to client's specifications by using a dental CAD software program
- At least 10 years of experience working as a CAD/CAM Designer
- At least 5 years of experience with 3shape, Nobel, Exocad, and other desktop scanners and software
- At least 5 years of experience with 5 Axis Milling units
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent is preferred (not required)
- CDT degree preferred (not required)
- Experience in regulated environment preferred
- Must have excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, must work together and communicate with all other departments throughout the lab
- $30 - $55 per hour, based on experience
- 100% company paid life, Long- and short-term disability
