Reporting to the Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis, this role will assist our leadership team with forecasting, analyzing and understanding our financial plans and results.If you are detail-oriented and capable of handling and intelligently analyzing large amounts of data while supporting a company full of passionate people who want to make a difference in the world through their work – this role is for youWork closely with the Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis and senior business partners across Benevity to assist in the enhancement of revenue models that support annual budgeting and monthly rolling forecasts.Analyze revenue trends, operational metrics and key drivers to assess business performance and identify risks and opportunities.Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product and Revenue Operations teams to gather insights on pipeline performance, market trends and client behavior to incorporate into revenue forecasts.Deliver consistent and reliable variance analysis of the company's financial and operational performance that is used to support decision making at the highest levels.Be highly engaged in the annual budgeting process and long-term strategic planning initiatives, aligning financial plans with company objectives.Support ongoing improvements and continuous development of accurate, flexible and robust modeling, reporting and processes to ensure a timely, detailed and reliable basis for decision making.Own FP&A data maintenance and integrity.Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field (CPA or MBA preferred).5+ years experience in financial analysis or related position.Strong proficiency in financial modeling, Excel and data analysis.Demonstrated attention to detail and well-developed problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.Software-as-a-service or technology sector experience an asset.Experience with Adaptive Insights (or similar business planning tool) an asset.Experience with Oracle Netsuite an asset.If the idea of working on tech that helps people do good in the world lights you up ... p>At Benevity, we have developed a Community First approach that we design our people's experience around with goals to build a strong community and culture, achieve stellar execution of our business goals and social mandate, and ensure Benevity-ites thrive.
