The company is seeking a Product Support Specialist to serve as a key link between Business Development, Product Development, and Marketing. This position is central to the company’s roofing business, focusing on low‑slope commercial and industrial roofing systems, and playing a crucial role in supporting customer‑facing activities and ensuring the quality and reliability of installations. Working closely with customers, installers, architects, and contractors, the Product Support Specialist acts as the Technical Representative for the organization. The individual will provide on‑site and remote expertise regarding roofing installations, conduct warranty‑related inspections, and ensure adherence to product specifications and installation standards. They will also collaborate with internal teams to deliver field‑based insights into new product development, perform application testing, and support technical documentation and customer training initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring a minimum of three years of experience in the low‑slope roofing industry, possessing a solid understanding of roofing applications, installation techniques, and field service support. A technical diploma or degree in engineering or a related discipline is preferred, while completion of a roofing apprenticeship program would be considered an asset. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential, as the role requires regular interaction with diverse stakeholders and the ability to navigate sensitive customer situations with professionalism and poise. This role demands a hands‑on, customer‑oriented professional who thrives in a fast‑paced and mobile environment. The successful candidate must be willing to travel throughout Ontario to visit customer sites, attend trade shows, and conduct field evaluations. It calls for analytical thinking, flexibility, and a strong work ethic.
