Job OverviewInside Sales Manager, Accountants at Sage will lead the inside sales team focused on acquiring new accounting firms and growing existing relationships. The role develops and optimizes acquisition channels, introduces innovative strategies, and drives the shift to cloud solutions such as Sage Business Cloud Accounting & Payroll, Sage AutoEntry, GoProposal, and Futrli.ResponsibilitiesLead and inspire a 12‑person inside sales team to achieve revenue targets through new firm acquisition and growth of existing accounts.Manage the full sales cycle: oversee outbound prospecting, consultative selling, diligent record‑keeping, and consistent follow‑up to exceed targets.Drive operational excellence: recommend policy changes, establish procedures, and ensure day‑to‑day team readiness.Coach and develop talent: provide ongoing training, call monitoring, feedback, and performance management to build a high‑performing team.Implement process improvements: introduce technical and workflow enhancements to maximize efficiency and results.Collaborate with leadership: maintain continuous communication with management on objectives, training, and career development plans.Recruit and retain top talent: hire, onboard, and develop sales professionals who thrive in a fast‑paced environment.Minimum Requirements5+ years of B2B inside sales experience, including 2+ years in software sales.Proven ability in sales training, coaching, and team development.Strong leadership skills with the ability to energize and motivate teams.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to manage change, multitask, and deliver results in a fast‑paced environment.Analytical mindset to identify trends and optimize calling campaigns.Preferred Qualifications2+ years of inside sales management experience.Bilingual in English/French.Accounting knowledge or related experience.Benefits100% paid premiums for health, dental, and vision coverage.RRSP contribution match (100% up to 4%).35 days paid time off (11 paid holidays, 16 vacation days, 3 personal days, 5 sick days).18 weeks of paid parental leave for birth, adoption, or surrogacy offered 1 year after the start date.5 days paid yearly to volunteer (through Sage Foundation).$5,250 tuition reimbursement per calendar year, starting 6 months after the hire date.Sage Wellness Rewards Program (annual fitness reimbursement).Library of on-demand career development options and ongoing training offerings.Who is Sage: https://www.sage.com/en-us/company/about-sage/Life at Sage: https://www.sage.com/en-us/company/careers/Our Values & Behaviors: https://www.youtube.com/watch?app=desktop&v=vt5JXf-Gwno&feature=youtu.beThe compensation will be determined by location, level, job-related knowledge, education, and experience. Certain provinces in Canada require job postings to include a reasonable estimate of the salary range applicable to the role. In those locations, the target salary range for new hires for this role is $80,000 to $87,000, with commissions, the OTE (On Target Earnings) can be up to $145,000. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either a bonus plan based on company and individual performance or a role-based commission plan. Our talent acquisition team will provide specific opportunities in our bonus or incentive programs to eligible candidates.
