OverviewScanning Clerk (2-month contract)Responsibilities and requirements are listed below.ResponsibilitiesSorting and distribution of mail and office supplies, including interoffice, couriers and overnight mailDelivery of mail and printing projects throughout the customer's siteCoordinating and preparing projects for printing, including electronic file conversion, document scanning and enhancement from start to deliveryDownload jobs from email or print queue, sizing, reproducing, sorting and finishingEstablishing and maintaining quality controls to ensure work accuracyResponding to first level phone calls from end users of equipment to determine the problem, clear paper jams, run test copies and determine status of machinesProvide scheduled trips to all machines to conduct cleaning of glass, toner replacement, stocking paper and general cleanness of work spaceRunning reportsKeeping logs of downtime, repairs and meter charges of all copiers/printers on siteQualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent work experienceMinimum 2 years of experience working in a mail room or copy centreSkillsExcellent interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly develop business relationshipsStrong self-motivation to drive resultsExcellent communication skills both verbal and writtenEffective use of Microsoft OfficeAbility to lift 30+ lbs. as necessaryOtherPresent a professional image at all times to customers and vendorsAbout UsCome Create at Ricoh: If you are seeking a team driven by passion and purpose, come create with us at Ricoh.
