Esri Canada has an exceptional opportunity for a Project Coordinator to join our Assessment department. Reporting to the Professional Services Manager, Assessment, this role is intended for individuals interested in applying their GIS technical knowledge while learning and utilizing project management skills. This role will be based remotely in Canada.OverviewJoin to apply for the Project Coordinator, Assessment | Coordonnatrice ou coordonnateur de projets, Évaluation role at Esri Canada.ResponsibilitiesParticipate in scoping and client meetings to define project requirementsManage assigned small and medium sized projects and their activities under the supervision of a Project Manager or Service Delivery ManagerCollaborate with project stakeholders including business analysts, developers, and clients to build consensusMonitor project budgets and expenditures, producing status and control reports as requiredIdentify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies proactivelyPromote IT standards and best practices for project management and system qualityPrepare quality management and testing plans, and lead assurance activitiesObtain stakeholder signoff on key deliverables and manage project close-out and lessons learnedSupport business development initiatives and contribute to consulting service opportunitiesNegotiate project scope, timelines, resources, and deliverables with clientsWork closely with Professional Services, Product Development, and Industry Managers to ensure project successConduct business analysis to support project scoping and client understandingWhat You Bring To The Team3+ years' experience with Esri based GIS applications1+ years' experience coordinating aspects of a projectIntroductory knowledge of software development methodologies and experience with iterative methodologies such as Scrum and AgileAbility & ambition to qualify for CAPM designationDemonstrated introductory level experience in and knowledge of current project management tools and techniquesDemonstrate intermediate level experience in the Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, PowerBI, SharePoint, Teams)Demonstrated ability to prepare project documentsUniversity degree in computer science, geography, math or equivalent education and experienceExcellent problem-solving, leadership, facilitation, interpersonal and communication skillsInterest & experience in Real EstateKnowledge and experience with Esri productsBonus Points For This PositionAmbition to working towards Project Management Professional (PMP) certificationPractical experience and working knowledge of MS ProjectKnowledge of Software Development Life CycleExperience with property assessment and mass appraisal software systemsComfortable working on multiple projects simultaneouslyExperience working with large government organizationsKnowledge of International Association of Assessing Officers (IAAO) StandardsKnowledge of FME and/or Geographic Data Conversion principlesWhat Esri Canada Offers YouWork from Home or hybrid workGenerous Paid Time-Off, including up to 6 weeks per year with details: 3 weeks of paid annual vacation (increasing with years of service), 50 hours of Paid-Time Off for personal needs, 32 hours of Summer Time, and winter office closureComprehensive health benefits planRRSP match increasing with years of serviceTraining and development programs for professional growthCompany perks including discounts on gym memberships and technology purchasesCompany-sponsored events and social activitiesEmployee-driven initiatives such as yoga sessions, book clubs, and podcastsFluency in English is essential, as this role requires regular client communication and support in English-speaking regions.How To ApplyReady to join our amazing team?
