The position plays a crucial role in utilising data to drive decision-making, optimize performance, and enhance the audience experience within our organisation. The role holder will be a subject expert on data, implementation and best practice identifying patterns, trends, and insights that will inform strategic decisions.

The position sits within the central Data team and operates across all Xeim and The Lawyer brands at Centaur. Centaur is currently a hybrid working environment, with a minimum of one day per week for project catch-ups in the Waterloo office

Technical Expertise

  • Use data mining to extract information from data sets and identify correlations and patterns
  • Organise and transform information into comprehensible structures
  • Use data to predict trends in the customer base and the consumer population as a whole
  • Perform statistical analysis of data
  • Use tools and techniques to visualise data in easy-to-understand formats, such as diagrams and graphs
  • Prepare reports and present these to internal stakeholders
  • Monitor data quality and remove corrupt data
  • Communicate with internal stakeholders to understand data content and business requirements

Product Expertise

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of developments and capabilities across the business
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technology developments within the IT/digital industry, specifically around data and data warehousing
