Triplelift, a fast-growing startup tackling some of the most challenging problems in the world of digital advertising, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Analytics Manager to join our Data Science team. As the Manager for the Data Analytics team, you will play a crucial role in analyzing ad inventory, bidding strategies, and performance metrics to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies that inform strategic decision-making aimed at maximizing revenue and Exchange efficiency. You will also build and mentor a team of proficient, outcome-driven Data Analysts.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in statistical analysis, data manipulation, and data visualization techniques, with a demonstrated history of recruiting and managing a team of exceptional data analysts. p>

Collaboration will be key in this role, as you will work closely with Product Development, Data Science, Engineering, and Marketplace teams to ensure that data-driven insights are seamlessly integrated into Triplelift’s overarching strategy. Your leadership will be instrumental in fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, driving the team towards excellence in data analytics and maintaining a high standard of analytical rigor within the team.

Responsibilities
  • Lead, hire, manage, and mentor a proficient team of data analysts focused on analyzing data from the Triplelift exchange, and build the function into a center of excellence for data analytics across the organization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project objectives, data requirements, and analytical approaches, and help integrate data-driven insights into company strategy.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analyses, provide guidance on analytical techniques and best practices, and provide analytical support to various departments as needed.
  • Develop and implement advanced analytical models and algorithms to extract meaningful, actionable insights from data to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Interpret and communicate findings through insightful reports, presentations, and data visualizations.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the Data Analytics team.
  • Contribute to the development and enhancement of data infrastructure, including data collection, storage, and retrieval systems.
  • Stay up-to-date on emerging trends, tools, and technologies in data analysis.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics). li>
  • 7+ years of experience in data analytics, with 1+ years in a managerial capacity, with a proven track record of delivering actionable insights and driving business impact.
  • High level of proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R).
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with expertise in statistical methods, hypothesis testing, and regression analysis.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and measuring statistical modeling performance with the ability to quickly build dashboards using tools like Grafana, Looker, etc.
