Manager, Field Operations – HVAC & Sheet Metal Division Infills Mechanical Inc. is a fast‑growing Calgary‑based HVAC, sheet metal, and electrical contractor serving residential and light commercial builders. Known for quality workmanship, reliable scheduling, and strong builder relationships, the company is looking for a motivated leader to oversee field operations and support the next phase of growth. About the Role The Field Operations Manager plays a key leadership role, overseeing daily field activities, coordinating teams, improving workflow, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and with high customer satisfaction. You’ll work closely with builders, subcontractors, supervisors, and office staff to maintain efficiency and uphold safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities Lead day‑to‑day field operations for HVAC & sheet metal crews Manage hiring, onboarding, subcontractor vetting, and staff performance Oversee scheduling, job progress tracking, work orders, and change orders Build and strengthen builder, client, and homeowner relationships Resolve jobsite challenges, escalate issues when needed, and ensure efficient workflow Ensure compliance with municipal codes, safety policies, and internal procedures Monitor labour hours, material spend, and operational KPIs to improve efficiency Review budgets, project reports, apprenticeship files, and ERP job data Support warranty follow‑ups and customer service requirements Work closely with supervisors to meet production timelines and quality expectations What You Bring Journeyperson HVAC or Sheet Metal Certification (Red Seal is an asset) 5+ years experience in residential new‑construction HVAC/sheet metal installation 3+ years in a leadership, foreman, or management role Strong communication and relationship‑building skills Ability to lead teams, coach apprentices, and manage multiple jobs at once Solid computer proficiency (MS Office; experience with job management/ERP systems preferred) Organized, solution‑oriented, and able to work under pressure Valid Class 5 Driver’s License High school diploma or equivalent Why Join Infills Mechanical?
