Family Physician – Creston, BC Join a vibrant community of healthcare professionals in the Creston Valley, South‑West British Columbia. Position Overview Family physicians work across multiple clinics and the Creston Valley Hospital (CVH), a 20‑bed acute care facility with an active 24‑hour emergency department and two long‑term care homes. Responsibilities Provide routine clinical care within participating family practice clinics. Deliver approx. 1:1 on‑call emergency services. Contribute to acute patient services at CVH, including GP surgery, anesthesia, low‑risk obstetrics, inpatient care and dialysis. Perform diagnostic laboratory services, imaging and ultrasound in collaboration with supporting departments (pharmacy, dietary, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, etc.). Support UBC Medical School students and residents in meeting their rural training requirements. Qualifications & Experience Entry‑level physician. Full‑time employment. Defined specialization in family medicine. Compensation Fee‑for‑service model with an estimated remuneration of approximately $450,000+ plus physician overhead. Billing split varies per clinic. Benefits & Incentives Retention premium: 16.6% Retention flat fee: $25,818 Relocation funding: $9,000–$15,000 (based on move location) Recruitment incentive: $20,000 Eligibility for additional remuneration under the Rural Subsidiary Agreement (RSA).
