Overview A Family Physician with Enhanced Anesthesia Skills opportunity exists in Creston, British Columbia, at Creston Valley Hospital (CVH) within Interior Health Authority. Family Physicians share after-hours coverage with approximately 1:11 ER on-call shifts funded by MOCAP, enabling a balanced work/life arrangement. CVH is a 20-bed acute care hospital with 24-hour on-call physician emergency services. Acute services include Surgery, Medicine, Obstetrics, Pediatrics, and Dialysis. Diagnostics are provided through imaging, ultrasound and lab. Support services include pharmacy, dietary, physiotherapy and occupational therapy. Visiting specialists provide consultations in General Surgery, Internal Medicine, ENT, Neurology, Pediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Radiology, Urology and Gastroenterology. The hospital operates a General Practitioner Surgical Day Program with Day Procedures and C-Sections. Responsibilities Provide Family Physician services with Enhanced Anesthesia Skills at CVH. Share after-hours ER on-call coverage (approximately 1:11), funded by MOCAP. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive patient care in a 20-bed acute care setting. Support perioperative care and participate in Day Procedures and C-Sections as part of the General Practitioner Surgical Day Program.
