Join to apply for the Procurement Manager role at MacDonald Search Group We are working with a local residential construction company to find a Procurement Manager to lead their procurement strategy, supplier management, and cost optimization. This role will focus on improving processes, negotiating contracts, and ensuring quality standards while collaborating with cross‑functional teams to manage costs, mitigate risks, and support growth. Key Responsibilities Lead procurement processes and standardize procedures. Manage tenders, contracts, and supplier onboarding. Build and evaluate supplier relationships with clear performance metrics. Drive cost savings through value engineering and lifecycle cost analysis. Ensure supplier compliance with regulations, standards, and contracts. Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies. Collaborate with suppliers and teams to foster innovation and efficiency. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field. Experience in residential development/construction. Professional certifications (CSCP, CPSM, SCMP, PMP, Lean Six Sigma) an asset. Proven experience in procurement, supplier management, and contract negotiation. Estimation experience considered an asset. Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills. Ability to manage risks, optimize costs, and improve processes.
