Responsibilities

As a licensed Strata Manager (Community Manager), you will be responsible for the relationship management with our strata council clients, handling day-to-day operational, maintenance, administrative, and financial management for the properties within your portfolio. Responsibilities of this position may include, but are not limited to:

  • Managing a portfolio of residential strata complexes
  • Onboarding new strata complexes as new contracts are confirmed
  • Prioritizing and conducting the business and projects generated by the portfolio in a timely manner
  • Managing projects, emergencies, contracts, and contractors as generated by the portfolio in a timely manner
  • Creating meeting agendas, conducting meetings (some evening meetings required), and following up with accurate minutes
  • Administering financial matters of the portfolio including budgeting, analyzing expenses, and reviewing and coding invoices
Requirements
  • A valid Strata Property Management License from BCFSA is required
  • A positive and enthusiastic, hands-on approach and being driven by delivering exceptional client service
  • Ability to multi-task, balance multiple priorities, meet precise deadlines, and manage clients' expectations
  • Ability to work well independently and within a team
  • Superior communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Sound knowledge of financial and budget reviews, and insurance policies relating to strata corporations
