The Capital Markets arm of CIBC provides integrated capital markets products, investment banking advisory services, corporate lending and top-ranked research to corporate, government, institutional and retail clients around the world. Global Markets, Global Investment Banking and Corporate Banking.

CIBC’s Global Markets business focuses on delivering expert financial and economic analysis and savvy deal-making capabilities to clients in Canada and around the world. The Global Markets team supports fixed income, foreign exchange, commodities, derivatives, equities and growth markets and is focused on building a strong, innovative relationship-oriented bank.

Within the Global Markets division, the Alternate Solutions Group (ASG) leverages capital markets trading and technology, and is responsible for deploying and executing on a number of market-leading and innovative solutions, servicing clients in domestic and international markets. The Alternate Solutions Group has quickly become a global leader in financial technology, offering cutting-edge foreign exchange and payment solutions to help corporate, institutional and retail clients manage risks and leverage market opportunities. p>

As an Executive Director on the Alternate Solutions Group you’ll primarily be responsible for leading one of the business segments. We are looking for high-energy individuals with an entrepreneurial spirit, who are focused on the challenge of building the bank of the future. The role also requires a strong internal partnership with technology as well as operational and risk stakeholders to ensure solutions are designed to meet specific product needs, meet CIBC’s risk appetite, and are seamlessly implemented.To successfully perform the work, you’ll be on-site full-time.
