Your Role:

As an Avionics/Electrical Engineer IV and an Authorized Person, you’ll play a critical role in the design, certification, and safety of avionics and electrical systems for Part 23/25/27/29 aircraft. Reporting directly to the Director of Engineering, you will leverage your expertise to:

  1. Certify avionics/electrical systems and equipment per Transport Canada (TC) standards.
  2. Review and approve design documentation and conduct engineering inspections.
  3. Oversee ground and flight certification testing.
  4. Act as a technical liaison with customers, suppliers, and regulatory authorities.
  5. Mentor junior engineers, fostering skill development within the team.
  6. Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in aerospace or electrical engineering (advanced degrees are an asset).
  7. Industry Knowledge: At least 10 years of aviation engineering experience, including 7 years in aircraft certification. Familiarity with FAR Part 23/25 aircraft; li>
  8. Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office and CAD software (AutoCAD or SolidWorks).
  9. Travel Readiness: Open to domestic and international travel.
  10. Core Competencies: Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and aircraft certification standards. Ability to manage projects efficiently while maintaining high-quality output.
