At Partner Staffing, we are seeking a highly skilled Avionics and Electrical Systems Engineer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on the design, certification, and safety of avionics and electrical systems for Part 23/25/27/29 aircraft.

About the Role

As an Avionics and Electrical Systems Engineer IV and an Authorized Person, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our clients' aircraft meet the highest standards of quality and safety. You will be responsible for certifying avionics/electrical systems and equipment per Transport Canada (TC) standards, reviewing and approving design documentation, conducting engineering inspections, and overseeing ground and flight certification testing.

You will also serve as a technical liaison with customers, suppliers, and regulatory authorities, providing expert advice and guidance on all matters related to avionics and electrical systems. In addition, you will mentor junior engineers, fostering skill development within the team and promoting a culture of excellence and innovation.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in aerospace or electrical engineering (advanced degrees are an asset)
  • At least 10 years of aviation engineering experience, including 7 years in aircraft certification
  • Familiarity with FAR Part 23/25 aircraft; proficiency in Microsoft Office and CAD software (AutoCAD or SolidWorks)
  • Ability to manage projects efficiently while maintaining high-quality output
