The Position

Neelands has an opportunity for a Project Manager, Refrigeration Construction to join our team in Burlington, Ontario. This role will be reporting to the National Accounts Manager.

Description of duties and responsibilities

  • Managing construction projects across Ontario and Eastern Canada
  • Preparing various types of proposals
  • Managing teams for commercial and light industrial facilities installations, renovations, and design builds
  • Preparing budget estimates and construction costs for mechanical requirements
  • Ensuring timely delivery of services, materials, and equipment
  • Ensuring client satisfaction throughout the life cycle of the project
  • Preparing specifications and technical reports
  • Tracking and maintaining detailed files for site-specific activities
  • Issuing purchase orders and ordering of equipment
  • Sub-contractor Engagement – Build relationships with key sub-contractors, look for new suppliers, sourcing, shipping.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 8 years in the Refrigeration Commercial Industry

including team leading experience.

  • Technical knowledge of refrigeration, and electrical systems
  • Proficient in Microsoft office suite
  • Knowledge in construction codes applicable to mechanical building systems
