The Position:

Neelands is searching for Engineering Technician in our Burlington, Ontario office. The successful candidate will provide deliverables to the various departments.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare AutoCad drawings in support of engineering management deliverables
  • Work with project managers to prepare project estimates
  • Prepare as-builts/close out documents
  • Manage bid requests and timelines
  • Maintain up-to-date technical library

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
  • Ability to effectively liaise with project managers, contractors and vendors
  • The ability to ensure compliance with all standards and specifications
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team setting
  • Well organized, able to multi-task, and have strong problem-solving capabilities
