Now we're building our own competitive shooter and need a DevOps engineer to architect rock-solid infrastructure. 🎯 What You'll Own Kubernetes orchestration - Multi-cluster game server management with Helm AWS infrastructure - Design and optimize with Terraform (IaC mandatory) CI/CD pipelines - GitHub Actions for automated deployments Security & secrets - Implement Hashicorp Vault for credentials management Cost optimization - Keep AWS bills sustainable while scaling Monitoring - Full observability stack for game servers 💼 Day-to-Day Impact Architect Kubernetes clusters for competitive match hosting Write Terraform modules for reproducible infrastructure Build GitHub Actions workflows for safe deployments Implement Vault for secure secrets management Monitor game server performance and player experience metrics Collaborate with platform engineers on latency optimization 🛠️ Required Technical Skills 3-5+ years DevOps/Infrastructure experience Kubernetes - Production experience with Helm charts AWS - Strong knowledge of EKS, VPC, EC2, CloudFront Terraform - Infrastructure as Code (not ClickOps) GitHub Actions - CI/CD pipeline development Monitoring - Prometheus, Grafana, or similar Scripting - Python or Bash for automation ⭐ Bonus Points Hashicorp Vault experience (huge plus) Previous gaming/live service infrastructure GameLift or game server orchestration Cost optimization track record Experience with competitive multiplayer infrastructure 📍 Work Setup Hybrid Remotemodel Flexible hours with core collaboration time On-call rotation shared across team 💰 What We Offer Competitive salary Comprehensive benefits (dental, vision, vacation) Work on a competitive AAA shooter Low bureaucracy, high ownership Direct impact on player experience Ready to build infrastructure for competitive gaming?
