Over a million business entities in almost every country are managed on Athennian to automate workflows for ownership, company secretarial, governance, tax, and compliance.The RoleWe are looking for a motivated and collaborative DevOps Engineer to join our Cloud Security and Infrastructure team. As a DevOps Engineer, you will have responsibility for building and maintaining cloud based infrastructure. Additionally, you will collaborate with engineering teams to solve operational problems, design and implement solutions, tools and practices that help us to increase operational productivity at a large scale. This role is vital in promoting collaboration between engineering to allow for delivery and management of services.As a key contributor to our Engineering team you will be responsible for:Work closely with Engineering stakeholders to design and maintain a reliable, scalable and secure platformOptimize existing deployment Tooling and Infrastructure, including but not limited to creating and maintenance new CI/CD Pipelines, optimizing infrastructure for cost or performance to meet our company goalsCollaborate with the Engineering team to identify areas for improvement and implement solutionsProvides DevOps domain expertise for existing projects and new initiativesSet up and maintain test environments for manual and automated testingConduct and analyze results of vulnerability scanning and penetration testing and action findingsPlan and perform ongoing routine application maintenance tasksParticipate in on-call rotations for monitoring and alertingIdentify cost saving opportunities within our infrastructureA successful candidate will have:3+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, and/or automation engineeringStrong understanding of cloud technologies such as AWSExperience with running and managing systems and services on a cloud platform (AWS)Strong understanding of database technologies such as MongoDBKnowledge of Docker, Kubernetes & Linux SystemsKnowledge of Terraform and PackerExperience deploying cloud service, monitoring, alerting, and handling critical issuesAgile development experienceWorks well in a team environment, as well as independentlyStrong attention to detail and problem-solvingExceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to work on multiple projects at the same timeThe ability to work without close supervision and thrive in an autonomous working environment that allows for high levels of freedomStrong communication and collaboration skillsTechnical curiosity and desire for continuous learningNice to have:AWS DevOps Engineer certificationExperience with Cloud based security protocolsLocationWe have embraced a distributed model of working to reach the best talent in the world.
