Do you have strong leadership and coaching skills?There's a seat at our table for you...** This position will be located in the South Vancouver Island area**This position offers annual compensation of $120,000 to $140,000 in British Columbia, commensurate with experienceWhat We Offer:Medical, Dental, Prescription Drug, and EFAP Benefits after 30 days of employmentComprehensive customizable benefits program to suit you and your family's needs, including dental, vision, prescription drugs and extended health coverageCompany-matched retirement programAnnual bonus and profit sharingGordon Food Service product discountsEmployee appreciation eventsA 127-plus years legacy of family culture, offering opportunities for advancement.What you would do:Leading, developing, mentoring and managing a team of Sales RepresentativesAssisting Sales Representatives with contract negotiations and pricing strategies to grow territoriesFinancial management of the territory, including factors such as cost, profitability and managing of the sales operating budgetImplementing best practices that translate into improved customer serviceProviding employee development through ongoing trainingOffering flawless service to our customersResponsible for determining the territory potential for existing customers, competitor accounts and new business in the South Vancouver Island regionSetting territory and individual goals for overall sales, product line sales and account profitabilityParticipating in food shows, sales meetings and sales promotionsDoes this sound like you?Possess 5+ years of senior experience in food-related sales and customer service.Proven leadership skills, with a strong focus on coaching and developmentHave demonstrated an attitude that contributes to employee engagement and a positive cultureStrong written and verbal communication skillsExceptional conflict resolution, negotiation, and objection-handling skillsExcellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritizeStrong analytical skills and presentation skills#GFSCAWe thank all applicants for their interest, however only those selected for the next stage will be contacted.
