POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The term teaching assignment will commence January 6, 2025 to June 27, 2025 or one day prior to the return of the teacher being replaced, whichever occurs first.

REQUIRED AND PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Permanent Manitoba Teaching Certificate
  • Proficiency in facilitating programming that ensures student’s deeper learning through:
  • Knowledge and application of Manitoba Education curriculum
  • Design of instructional and assessment practices that engage student learning
  • Application of Indigenous teachings and perspectives
  • Programming for students who are English as an Additional Language learners
  • Knowledge, understanding and application of inclusive pedagogy

Expertise in the implementation of inquiry/project-based learning, instructional partnerships, differentiated instruction, and literacy with ICT and digital citizenship.

  • Promotion of innovation and creativity
  • Active collaboration between students and adults, and with colleagues, locally and globally
  • Inclusion of student voice and student choice
  • Leveraging technology as a learning tool
