- Proficiency in facilitating programing that ensures student’s deeper learning through:

- Design of instructional and assessment practices that engage student learning
- Application of Indigenous teachings and perspectives
- Programming for students who are English as an Additional Language learners
- Expertise in the implementation of inquiry/ project-based/ learning, instructional partnerships, differentiated instruction, and
literacy with ICT and digital citizenship
- Promotion of innovation and creativity
- Active collaboration between students and adults, and with colleagues, locally and globally
- Inclusion of student voice and student choice
- Leveraging technology as a learning tool
