The Organizational Development (OD) Consultant plays a critical role in leading and supporting systemic organizational development and continuous improvement initiatives. This role partners with executives, senior leaders, and business units to design and deliver evidence-based strategies that foster leadership excellence, enhance the employee experience, and enable the organization to achieve its mission through its people, structures, and culture.Your responsibilitiesPartner with executives, senior management, and cross-functional teams to diagnose organizational challenges and deliver tailored, high-impact solutions that align culture, systems, and structures with corporate strategy.Lead initiatives focused on strategic planning, leadership and talent development, performance management, change management, and team effectiveness.Provide strategic consulting grounded in data-driven insights and best practices to align people, processes, and goals for measurable results.Contribute to complex, cross-functional business transformation and continuous improvement projects, adapting Lean Six Sigma and change management methodologies to ensure success.Support change adoption by collaborating with leaders to promote engagement and readiness across the organization. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and process optimization through coaching and mentorship.Your experience and skillsUndergraduate degree in Business, Human Resources, Organizational Development, Organizational Psychology, or related field. A master’s degree in a related field is preferred.Extensive experience in the design, implementation and evaluation of organizational development programs, including strategic planning, change management, employee engagement, talent management, and leadership development.A Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification is preferred. Candidates who possess strong Lean Six Sigma knowledge or related experience may also be considered.Experience leading or coaching large-scale process improvement initiatives.Change management certification (e.g., Prosci Certified Change Practitioner) is a strong asset.Professional designations such as CHRP or CMC and certification in psychometric assessments are assets.Demonstrated ability to deliver strategic, high-profile projects independently and collaboratively with senior leaders.Strong facilitation, consultation, and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build trust across all organizational levels.Proven analytical and conceptual thinking skills with a holistic, systems-oriented approach to problem solving.Proven ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization. Ability to meaningfully communicate discrete data and business concepts.Solid understanding of the Workers’ Compensation system, its operations, and organizational structure is preferred.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, process mapping tools, project management software, and collaborative platforms (e.g., SharePoint, digital whiteboards).
