At Figment, we’re building and running staking infrastructure that powers dozens of the most innovative blockchain networks. We’re looking for a motivated Junior DevOps Engineer to join our Staking Team, where you’ll gain hands-on experience operating production systems while learning from a group of experienced engineers.How you will make an impactSupport the deployment and operation of staking tools to perform blockchain operations on multiple networksAssist in troubleshooting production issues alongside senior engineersWrite scripts and tools (Python, TypeScript, or Go) to automate tasks and improve workflowsHelp maintain AWS-based infrastructure and learn to manage Kubernetes clusters with HelmContribute to the monitoring and alerting of system health and performanceParticipate in an on-call rotation (with mentorship and guidance) to support production systemsWhat you bring to the team3 to 5 years of experience in a DevOps, Site Reliability Engineer, or software engineering roleSome proven experience coding in Python, TypeScript, or Go (comfortable writing scripts or small tools)Familiarity with AWS services (EC2, S3, IAM, etc.) and interest in growing cloud expertiseExposure to Kubernetes and Helm is a strong plusStrong curiosity, eagerness to learn, and a collaborative attitudeComfortable working in a remote, asynchronous team environmentTechnologies we useTeams you’ll collaborate with most oftenThis role will collaborate most often with our DevOps Blockchain teams and Product teams.Why you might be excited about usAt Figment, we offer an exciting range of competitive benefits designed to support and empower every member of our team:100% remote-first environment. This range reflects base salary only, and does not include additional compensation or benefits. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum range for a new hire across all Canada or the US.
