The resource will help transition asset data from a homegrown system to BMC Helix, ensuring accurate, real‑time visibility into all asset information. This initiative will enhance data‑driven decision‑making, improve operational efficiency, and align asset management practices with ITIL standards across client service operations. Qualifications Strong analytical and data management skills with hands‑on experience in data migration, transformation, and visualization. Proficiency in BMC Helix or equivalent ITSM/ITAM platforms. Deep understanding of ITIL Asset & Configuration Management processes. Advanced proficiency in SQL, Excel, Power BI, or Tableau for analytics and reporting. Demonstrated ability to work across multi‑disciplinary teams and adapt to evolving project priorities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of translating complex data concepts into actionable insights. Highly collaborative, innovative, and resilient—comfortable experimenting and learning through iteration. Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline. 7–10 years of experience in data analysis or asset management transformation projects (public sector preferred). Experience with large‑scale data migration and system modernization programs. Certification or training in ITIL Framework. Expected Tasks Development of a data governance and process alignment framework compliant with ITIL standards. Documentation of data flows, process maps, and optimization recommendations. Successful migration of asset data from legacy systems to BMC Helix with validated accuracy and completeness. Delivery of real‑time dashboards and reports enabling operational and executive decision‑making. Contribution to change enablement and user readiness materials to facilitate smooth adoption. Data Migration and Quality Management Analyze, cleanse, validate, and migrate legacy asset data into BMC Helix. Develop data mapping models, reconciliation scripts, and verification reports to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness. Support ongoing data audits and integrity checks during and after the migration. Process and Standards Alignment Assess current asset management practices and identify gaps against ITIL Asset and Configuration Management standards. Recommend process improvements and assist in defining governance models that support data accuracy and operational transparency. Business and Technical Analysis Work with stakeholders to document data relationships, dependencies, and reporting metrics. Translate business requirements into technical specifications for data modeling, integration, and analytics. Change Support and Enablement Collaborate with internal and external teams to communicate data and process changes effectively. Support training materials, workshops, and documentation to ensure adoption of BMC Helix and new asset management workflows. Analytical and Experimental Problem‑Solving Identify data anomalies, dependencies, and performance challenges; propose practical, tested solutions. Embrace an agile, experimental mindset to test and refine recommendations based on outcomes. Continuous Improvement and Reporting Develop and maintain dashboards and visual reports (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) to support real‑time asset visibility. Provide ongoing recommendations to enhance asset tracking, lifecycle management, and reporting accuracy. Collaboration and Communication Work collaboratively with IT, operations, and business stakeholders to ensure data alignment and understanding.
