p>Non-Executive Director We are a leading international development consultancy with a 40-year track record of providing our clients with the information and insight they need to make development work smarter, produce better results and improve people’s lives. We offer advice to governments, foundations, multilateral agencies, development finance institutions, the private sector and NGOs on how to maximise the impact of their investments. p>Itad’s board provides collective strategic leadership and challenge on strategy, corporate issues and risks. It sets the company’s strategic aims, ensures that the necessary financial resources are in place for the company to meet its objectives, and reviews management performance. Membership currently comprises of Itad’s partners and two non-executive directors (NEDs), the Chair and Investor Director.We are seeking one new non-executive director to join our board and provide fresh insights across the full range of board leadership, governance and strategic direction.Helping to set the company’s strategic direction, with a particular focus on: (i) identifying key international development trends and implications for Itad’s clients and markets; (ii) reviewing Itad’s market position and approach to building its client base, influence and impact.Scrutinising the company’s management information to ensure performance and delivery of the company’s strategy and that key objectives are ambitious and achievable.Interest in, and passion for, international development and the role of evidence in making international development more effective.Proven senior leadership experience in an international development organisation (funder, consultancy or NGO), including board-level experience as an executive or non-executive.In-depth knowledge of priority service areas for Itad, including strategy or monitoring, evaluation and learning.
