Senior Corporate and Foundation Partnerships Associate

360°kids is a vitally important community agency serving all of York Region. We have been a leader in the delivery of innovative support services for more than 35 years as we work to improve the lives of unhoused and marginalized youth and families in York Region. At 360°kids, we provide a unique continuum of care approach with programs and services that are essential to the health and well-being of youth. These proven strategies help to keep youth safe by providing stable housing options with 360° wraparound supports.Reporting to the Director of Development, the Senior Corporate and Foundation Partnerships Associate will spearhead fundraising efforts to secure gifts, grants, and donations from corporations and foundations. This includes activities such as research, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship to maintain a robust pool of prospects and exceed established fundraising goals.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Initiate and develop strategic fundraising approaches.
  • Coordinate efforts to secure corporate and foundational support.
  • Build and maintain meaningful relationships with corporate and foundational partners to support program delivery, sponsorships, and employee engagement opportunities.
  • Implement a partnership strategy that aligns with corporate philanthropy interests.
  • Steward and cultivate existing corporate donors and sponsors.
  • Source new partnerships through research, collaboration, and compelling communication.

QUALIFICATIONS OR SKILLS REQUIRED:
  • A degree/diploma in a relevant field is sought (e.g., non-profit management, major gift solicitation, grant writing, fundraising or philanthropic studies) along with several years of demonstrated experience soliciting and securing leadership gifts and strategic partnerships, or the equivalent combination of education, professional certification, and professional work experience.
  • Experience in securing multi-year partnerships in non-profit or Corporate Social Responsibility
  • Goal-oriented, resourceful, data-driven, and entrepreneurial.
  • Confidence in face-to-face meetings and presentations with key executives.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to convey the mission of 360°kids passionately and authentically.
  • Collaborative yet capable of independent initiative.
  • Relationship building and management skills to support relationships with corporate and foundation donors, employees, and peers within the industry.
  • Strong personal ethics, integrity, and reliable.
  • Ability to work as a team member in a dynamic, complex environment and organize time and workload effectively with demonstrated problem solving ability.
  • Valid driver’s license, a vehicle in good working order and proof of $2,000,000 vehicle liability.
  • Current vulnerable sector screening (criminal background check).
