This position will be reporting to the Production Manager.

 HOW YOU WILL BE MAKING AN IMPACT 
  • Perform setup, maintenance, programming and operation on machining equipment with specific focus on CNC mills and routers.  
  • Read and interpret specification manuals, blueprints, templates and layouts to determine machining operations to be performed.
  • Compute dimensions and tolerances and measure and lay out work pieces.
  • Verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments.
  • Fabrication of production support jigs/fixtures using other available equipment and hand tools.
  • Participate in continuous improvement of cell processes. 
  • Move between production assignments that utilize multiple skills as needed to support production requirements. 
  • Responsible for observing all applicable safety requirements and reporting immediately any unsafe practices/conditions. 
  • Other duties as assigned.
 WHAT SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE YOU REQUIRE 
  • Graduate of Manufacturing Technician program or equivalent experience.
  • Previous experience with HAAS mills is an asset.
  • Must have experience in Mastercam or other CAM packages.
  • Familiarity with GD&T.
