Intermediate Bilingual Business Systems Analyst to support the delivery of telephony projects in the IT Services portfolio. -844

Our client is looking for an Intermediate Bilingual Business Systems Analyst to support the delivery of telephony projects in the IT Services portfolio.

Initial 2-month contract with possibility of extension, hybrid (2 days per week onsite, 3 days remote) in Montreal, Ste-Hyacinthe, Laval, or Toronto.

Responsibilities:

  • Collection and documentation of requirements:
  • Obtain the participation of key stakeholders and identify the person responsible(s) for the requirements.
  • Leverage your understanding of applicable business processes and systems through efficient requirements gathering.
  • Document business processes, requirements, and impacts as required.
  • Question/negotiate certain requirements when appropriate.
  • Obtain formal approval from business stakeholders.
  • Determine detailed activities for the collection of requirements as well as the estimation of efforts.
  • Ensure that all requirements are addressed during the delivery of the project.
  • Actively participate in the governance of project change requests and cost-benefit analysis of projects with project managers.
  • Analysis of requirements and development of the solution:
  • Document functional specifications and changes to business processes related to business requirements.
  • In collaboration with architects and technical specialists, participate in the translation of business needs into solutions.
  • Correlate the proposed solution with the requirements of the business.
  • Act as an intermediary between business stakeholders and IT departments.
  • Quality control and testing of the delivered solution:
  • Create and document test cases to confirm that deployed solutions will meet established requirements, standards, and business practices.
  • Perform testing activities and document the results.
  • Change Management, Communication and Documentation:
  • Ensure solutions are effectively deployed with appropriate change management communication.
  • Provide implementation support and play a leading role in managing the impacts of the project.
  • Liaise with other teams affected by the changes, including Help Desk Business Analysts.
  • Create and maintain changes to documentation (e.g., user guides, policies, system documentation, and training) as well as the integration of new processes and technologies into ongoing operations.
  • Provide training to the target audience.

Must-Haves:

  • 5+ years as a managing network and infrastructure projects
  • 2+ years experience delivering telephony/telecommunications projects
  • 3+ years experience in telephony technologies such Avaya, Nice, Genesys, or Verint products
  • Excellent communication skills in English and French
