About the Role
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Manager of Office Services & Facilities to support our client's growing and dynamic Indigenous Practice group. The preferred candidate will have a strong work ethic, and strong client service focus.
Your Responsibilities
- Facilitate all internal office moves;
- Ensure the security of the firm's office spaces;
- Assist with the improvement of Vancouver operational management systems, processes and best practices;
- Manage any internal furniture and ergonomic requests;
- Responsible for general housekeeping of all floors, including kitchens and bistro area; Co-Chair the Occupational Health & Safety Committee including facilitating monthly meetings and ensuring minutes are posted, ensuring compliance with all WorkSafe BC requirements by reviewing WorkSafe BC resources on a (minimum) quarterly basis, liaising with the Office Manager in the Calgary office to ensure all compliance with all Alberta health & safety requirements are being met
- Act as a point of contact for all health & safety related questions and concerns;
- Responsible for the annual budget of the Office Services department;
- Oversee and make arrangements where needed with the firm's contractors and vendors;
- Build and maintain working relationships with the building management;
- Monitor leasing and renewals any sublease arrangements and responds to subtenant requests; coordinates tenant improvement construction projects;
- Day-to-day management responsibility for the Vancouver Office Services team and Reception desk;
- Oversee the main & print room; and
- Oversee file closing processes.
- Competitive salary up to $93,000 commensurate with experience;

- Previous Office Services and Management experience in a law firm;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills;
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills;
- Knowledge of general office procedures and MS Office applications;
- Maintain a client-center approach; and
- Able to work independently and function effectively as part of a team.
