JOB TITLES: (Mental Health) Health Care Worker

JOB SUMMARY: The Health Care Worker provides care to clients in a manner that will respect the individual(s) & maintain their dignity.

Care and support is provided to 9 (Male) adult clients in a Group Home facility. Orientation shifts and full on-site training is provided for facility programs.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
**Mental Health Health Care Worker**:Duties include: Providing assistance with housekeeping and house hold duties; Meal preparation; Assisting clients with life skills based on individual program plans; Maintaining client records, Charting progress notes; Administering medications and providing prescribed treatments or medical care; Reporting to supervisor; Monitoring, reporting and documenting signs and symptoms of clients health status.

Licensed facility under Vancouver Coastal Health and governed by Community Care and Assisted Living Act. Facility and Programs adhere to COVID 19 Protocols mandated by BC Health Officer.

APPLICANTS must be: Energetic; Communicative and Sociable
- First Aid Certification:

- Food Safe Level 1 Certification;
- Immunization COVID 19 vaccination,
- TB test

Available FACILITY WORK HOURS:
- **Week-end Shifts **Day Evening Overnights (8 hrs)

Monday - Friday Evenings and Overnights

**Applicants must be willing and available to work the above shifts including week-ends statutory holidays, seasonal vacation periods, summer months, and Christmas holiday period.**

**Salary**: $23.27-$25.45 per hour
