Story Behind the Need:

The Talent & Core HR is globally ensuring specific individual goals, plans, and initiatives are executed in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives. Ensuring all activities conducted are compliant with governing regulations, internal policies, and procedures.
Role: BSA for SuccessFactors learning Lab.

Candidate Value Proposition:

The successful candidate would get to work with a dynamic and integral team within the bank. This role would provide networking opportunities and exposure to multiple teams throughout the bank.

Typical Day in Role:

• Champions a customer-focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships.
• Provide highly specialized technical leadership in the analysis, design, development, and support of cost-effective online HR management and decision support systems, within SuccessFactors and other Talent applications.
• Responsible for the resolution of complex business problems and must work under tight deadlines, conflicting priorities, and changing requirements. This includes managing multiple small projects, participating in and/or managing specific sections of large projects, and providing ongoing support to all assigned units globally (utilizing Agile methodologies where applicable).
• Independently resolve complex, multi-faceted problems to meet business needs, by applying HR and technological knowledge to the design of methodologies, models, and/or systems solutions. This includes conducting research and analysis, participating in defining business requirements and processes, participating in the reengineering of the HR business process, and liaising with users.
• Manage multiple small HR technology projects and/or manage specific sections of large projects to implement technology solutions for HR business problems. This involves planning and scheduling resources, developing detailed project plans, and monitoring progress against planned objectives.
• Participate in the SuccessFactors systems implementation process by interpreting business requirements into systems analysis, technical specifications, documenting detailed reporting requirements, configuring HR vendor software, and providing post-implementation support.
• Participate in the review of Quality Assurance (QA) test strategies for assigned projects/initiatives to ensure the planned testing is comprehensive and consistent with the business requirements. Support QA testing by analyzing defects to provide clarification of technical specifications and defect resolution.
• Continually acquire and enhance knowledge of the Division’s business strategies and policies, risk management practices and methodologies, product offerings, financial markets, financial instruments, regulatory requirements, Back Office processes, and rapidly changing technology to provide effective business solutions and services to the end-user business lines.
• Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
• Actively pursue effective and efficient operations in accordance with the bank’s Values, its Code of Conduct, and the Global Sales Principles while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to, and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions, and conduct risk.
• Champion a high-performance environment and contribute to an inclusive work environment.

Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:

• 8+ years combined SAP SuccessFactors configuration lead experience.
• 3-5 years SuccessFactors Learning Management module experience.
• Demonstrable experience in configuring, managing, and optimizing SAP SuccessFactors.
• SAP SuccessFactors Learning certification.
• Working knowledge of HR business processes.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills are a must.

Nice-To-Have Skills:

• Spanish-speaking is an asset.
• Consulting experience will be an asset.

Soft Skills:

• Creative, self-starting, results-oriented, and highly motivated individual with very good analytical skills to apply this knowledge to independently resolve complex business problems.
• Proven interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills to build consensus and obtain cooperation from both users and senior management. These skills, along with good time management and organizational skills, will allow the incumbent to effectively manage small projects while planning and scheduling resources within those projects to optimize productivity.

Best vs Average:

The ideal candidate would have a very good understanding of current IT practices, systems development techniques, including requirements specification and testing methodologies, real-time analytical and formal modeling tools, and keep current with rapidly changing technology.

Degrees or Certifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in technology or computer science.
• SAP SuccessFactors Learning certification.

Candidate Review & Selection:

• 1st round with HM – MS Teams – 30 mins – Behavioral & Technical questions on SuccessFactors Learning module.
• 2nd round with Director – MS Teams – 30 mins – In-depth discussion on overall fitment for the role.
