As a Director, National Sea Logistics Development, Asia Pacific, you would be responsible for promoting and developing the organization's Asia Pacific Trade by driving the overall strategy in alignment with company goals across Canada. You would be partnering with the manager and respective sales teams across Canada as a subject matter expert on trade and sea logistics-specific strategy. Your Responsibilities
- Lead development of Asia Pacific Trade and build upon the sales strategy nationally.
- Drive strategy of the trade to ensure achievement of growth targets.
- Identify growth opportunities through market knowledge and by leveraging our network.
- Assist the sales teams in identifying and preparing solutions for client needs.
- Support various teams with client presentations.
- Prepare market updates to be shared both internally and externally.
- Collaborate with overseas offices to drive growth.
- Travel requirements both international and domestic.
- Other job duties as required from time to time.

Your Skills and Experiences
- Minimum 5 to 10 years in a sea logistics environment.
- Strong foundation in sea freight sales, operations, pricing, carrier network and trade lane knowledge.
- College or University diploma or degree in Supply Chain or Logistics a definite asset.
- English communication skills both written and verbal.
- Customer service skills dealing with customers at a high level.
- Presentation and collaboration skills, and ability to lead in a team environment.
- Dispute resolution skills.
