Job Summary: AGT Robotics Inc. is currently looking for a senior-level Controller with extensive experience in accounting and finance, ideally in a manufacturing environment. This rigorous and methodical person will be responsible for the complete accounting cycle, ensuring that all operations are carried out efficiently, precisely, and in compliance with current regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement policies and procedures, inspired by best accounting practices, necessary for the sound management of your department and ensure that they are respected and followed.
  • Participate in financial planning (forecasts, budgets) as well as analysis of variances and results.
  • Provide leadership within the team by keeping it informed and engaged, providing continuous feedback on performance, coaching, and direction.
  • Work closely with the analyst to produce the annual corporate budget as well as support managers in its implementation and monitoring.
  • Support operational departments in implementing projects involving accounting needs and information needs.
  • Ensure compliance with the company's accounting standards, internal controls, and administrative procedures.
  • Track fees paid in advance and accrued fees to be paid.
  • Coordinate the production of various tax reports, GST and QST reports, government remittances, American tax reports, etc.
  • Account for fixed assets and associated depreciation.
  • Supervise accounts payable, invoicing, and accounts receivable.
  • Develop and prepare various value-added monthly analyses.
  • Supervise the preparation of the external audit file and act as a resource person within the annual audit process.
  • Cross-check company accounting and prepare statutory monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Collaborate in the development of financial performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Represent the company to internal and external stakeholders.

  • Skilled in interpersonal communications, audience presentations, popularization of complex information, and writing.
  • Sense of organization, planning, and priorities.
  • Good intellectual, analytical, and synthesis skills allowing the creation of management systems.
  • Skilled in defining objectives as well as performance measurement indicators.
  • Ability to manage a team and work collaboratively.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • University training in accounting sciences.
  • Member of the Order of CPAs of Quebec.
  • Minimum ten (10) years of relevant experience.
  • Be perfectly bilingual both orally and in writing.
  • Excellent command of computer software and information technologies.
