Commissionaires NB&PEI Division is looking to hire a mature and responsible team member in Fredericton, NB to work at a government facility.


The Role:

The Security Officer is responsible for assess control and to enforce established rules and regulations to ensure the protection of people, property, and information on worksites.


We are seeking candidates with:


  • Physical fitness to stand, walk or sit for extended periods of time and to respond to emergency situations
  • Strong communication and dispute resolution skills
  • A positive, proactive, problem-solving approach to tasks
  • Customer service experience
  • Clean criminal record

The successful candidate must be able to:


  • Maintain high levels of confidentiality
  • Provide assess control and demonstrate sound judgement in addressing conflict situations
  • Respond to emergency situations

Designated Veteran Status is an asset but is not a requirement for the position.
