Job Overview

As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preventing theft and violence, and responding to site emergencies. If you have a passion for helping people and a track record of handling responsibility, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

Provide welcoming presence and exceptional customer service

Prevent theft, violence, or infraction of rules and regulations

Monitor site visitors and perform ID checks in accordance with site policies and procedures

Respond professionally to site emergencies (alarms, medical emergencies, fires, and other urgent matters)

Effectively communicate all suspicious activities, concerns, issues, and events

Prepare and maintain professional and effective reports regarding the activities, security violations, and hazardous occurrences on site

High school diploma or equivalent

Prior experience working in security or customer service

Eligibility to work in Canada

Bilingualism (where applicable)

Additional Information

This is a part-time, as-needed position. The successful candidate will be required to carry a valid New Brunswick Security License, provided by the company. We also provide basic security training, including Non-Violent Crisis Intervention and Use of Force.
