Iris's client, one of the Top 5 Bank in Canada is looking to hire a Senior Product Manager for a long term contract opportunity.Our Client is a Canadian multinational financial services company and the largest bank in Canada by market capitalization. The bank serves over 17 million clients and has more than 89,000 employees worldwide. Bank is serving individual consumers, small and middle market businesses and large corporations with a full range of banking, investing, asset management and other financial and risk-management products and services.Title: Senior Product ManagerLocation: Toronto, ON (Hybrid- 3 Days onsite/week)Long term ContractClient: Banking/FinancialMinimum Requirements:Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, and 10 years of work experience.Must have experience in:Creating and managing product roadmaps outlining the platform’s features and future direction – within a Product led company, preferably a FinTech or at a large Financial Services firm/ product vendorConducting research to deeply understand customer needs and pain-points; Solid understand of vendor landscape and how solutions might be leveraged to solve problems/ capture opportunities.Translating business needs into product requirements (with high level of detail such that they can be efficiently implemented by the engineering teams).Overseeing the entire product development life cycle, ensuring features are built and deployed in line with the client needs and that the overall product development is aligned with the organizations’ broader data strategy.Performing data analysis and running queries to understand how consumers are leveraging our products, proactively identifying issues/ anomalies, establish linkages and patterns in consumption behaviour – that can be used to inform our product strategy.Acting as a liaison between different teams including Architecture, Engineering, Quality Assurance, and consumer Front Office teams/ applications. What do you need to succeed?Strong Product Management background, experience in agile environments, understanding of technical concepts and strong business acumen.Excellent written and verbal communication skills; notably the ability to straddle high-level / strategic client conversations and the technical nuances of the product platform.Adept at conducting product research and gathering valuable feedback/ ideas.Proven ability to prioritize and adapt to a fast-paced environment; Strong organizational skills are essential.Demonstrable track record of learning new skills while building partnerships with stakeholders and fostering high performance team culture.Strong knowledge of Data Mesh, Data Virtualization, and Cloud technologies.About Iris Software Inc.
