Position Summary:
The Lead Product Strategist will play a pivotal role in the success of our product offerings, overseeing everything from strategic alignment to detailed product specifications and market introduction.
Key Responsibilities:
1. **Product Leadership:**
- Drive the complete product development lifecycle in an agile setting, from conceptualization to market launch and eventual phase-out.
- Develop and maintain a data-informed product roadmap that aligns with organizational goals.
2. **Cross-Functional Collaboration:**
- Communicate the overarching product vision and specific requirements effectively across various teams, including senior management, design, and development.
- Foster collaboration among diverse stakeholders to ensure alignment and clarity.
3. **Market Analysis and Strategy:**
- Conduct thorough feasibility studies, including ROI assessments and business case development.
- Evaluate build, buy, or partner options to optimize product offerings.
4. **Mentorship and Development:**
- Mentor fellow product managers and contribute to talent acquisition and performance evaluation processes.
- Continuously enhance the product management practices within the organization.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in a dynamic technical environment in a product management capacity.
- Previous experience in the Corporate Learning Management System (LMS) or Educational Technology sector is preferred.
- Proven ability to articulate both technical and business concepts to a variety of audiences, including customers and senior leadership.
- Strong interest or experience in Competency-Based Education and Skills-Based Learning within corporate settings.
- Familiarity with current web, data, cloud, and mobile technologies.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- A creative thinker who can convey complex ideas clearly and concisely.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.
