Position Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Administrative Assistant to manage administrative and clerical responsibilities for a large construction/development company in the city of Toronto. You will handle a variety of administrative tasks and oversee essential accounting functions. and managing data entry and document management tasks.
The ideal candidate will have experience in accounting, specifically Quickbooks .
Key Responsibilities:
· Provide comprehensive administrative support including scheduling, data entry, and document management.
· Manage accounts payable and receivable processes with accuracy.
· Assist with bookkeeping tasks and maintain financial records.
· Support the team with construction administration tasks as needed.
· Ensure accurate and timely data entry and document filing.
· Coordinate with various departments to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
· Handle and manage incoming and outgoing phone calls efficiently and professionally.
Qualifications:
· Must have administrative assistant experience with Quickbooks.
· Prior experience in construction administration is advantageous.
· Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Attention to detail and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
