Job Summary:

The Engineering Manager oversees technical operations and leads a team of Engineers in support of operational excellence.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  1. Lead mine planning activities including design, construction, and analysis of projects.
  2. Conduct feasibility studies and provide engineering expertise for problem-solving.
  3. Identify and implement improvements in production, maintenance, and operations.
  4. Manage design and development of mine modifications, liaising with vendors and contractors.
  5. Supervise equipment installation and evaluate project progress.
  6. Prepare and manage expense and capital projects.
  7. Maintain project records and ensure compliance with policies.
  8. Support mine ventilation system design, repair, and verification.
  9. Ensure compliance with safety policies and regulatory standards.
  10. Oversee capital project development and advise on environmental aspects.
  11. Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or relevant field with 7+ years of experience.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Experience managing projects over $5 million.
Proficiency in ground control and rock mechanics activities.
Leadership experience with teams of at least 5 members.
Knowledge of mine ventilation and hoisting systems.
Supervisory experience in a mining environment.
