On Side Restoration - Bilingual Human Resources Manager

On Side Restoration is seeking a bilingual (French/English) Human Resources Manager to join our national team. Reporting to the HR Vice President, this position is responsible for all HR matters. As a strategic partner the HR Manager will lead a team of HR professionals and is responsible for day-to-day HR operations within the province of Quebec.

An expert in all things Human Resources, a typical day for the HRM could include guiding Management in HR policy situations and employee matters, supporting HR Department corporate initiatives with diplomacy and discretion, and providing leadership and coaching to the HR team in alignment with our Leadership Success Factors.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead, empower and develop a team of human resources professionals.
  2. Provide day-to-day consulting and support to managers & employees.
  3. Support managers with sensitive employee relations matters including performance management and discipline.
  4. Ensure compliance with HR policies, procedures, and programs.
  5. Collaborate with various stakeholders to drive objectives and monitor trends.
Requirements:
  • Fully bilingual in French and English.
  • At least 7 years of experience in HR positions.
  • 2 years’ experience in people management.
  • Higher education in Human Resource Management.
  • Knowledge of Quebec employment law and provincial regulations.
