The University of Ottawa Heart Institute (UOHI) is Canada’s largest and foremost heart health centre dedicated to understanding, treating and preventing heart disease.
The Institute is seeking a Vice-President, Public Affairs, Strategy and Chief Communications Officer. Join a patient-centered, dynamic and vibrant organization where your work is valued and where you can have a true impact.
Reporting to the President and CEO, and working closely with the executive team, you will maintain, protect and enhance the corporate reputation, public profile and brand of UOHI by providing leadership and strategic direction for all public affairs, communications and corporate marketing plans.
At the UOHI, communications is viewed as a key strategic asset that helps achieve the Institute’s clinical and research goals. You will lead a highly competent and dedicated public affairs and communications team.
