As a patient-centred hospital, an active Patient and Family Advisory Council sits on many hospital committees, helping to ensure that the voice of the patient is truly embedded in our care.Reporting to the President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the Vice President Digital Transformation & CIO will work in collaboration with internal leaders and external partners to catalyze transformative change and lead the Hospital in adopting tools and technologies necessary to thrive in an increasingly digitized world.Leveraging the incumbent’s significant experience successfully leading full-cycle, innovative digital strategy creation and implementation, the individual spearheads and champions a strategic direction for the current and future landscape of QCH’s digital and technology solutions. A strong understanding of enterprise and cybersecurity risk related to Information Technology and digital systems is paramount. The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring a robust cybersecurity program and evolving plan to protect the hospital’s digital assets.As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, the incumbent is integral in ensuring that Hospital-wide policies, priorities and strategic initiatives are developed and aligned with the Hospital’s mission, vision, and values and 5-year True North strategic plan. As an inspirational and compassionate leader, you will lead a team of diverse IT professionals accountable for the delivery of digital solutions, IT and clinical informatics including evolving our electronic medical record, cybersecurity initiatives and modernization of our network and business intelligence tools.QCH is endeavouring to identify a talented and respected senior-level digital and technology leader who is passionate about healthcare and has a proven track record of implementing innovative digital solutions.
