The Opportunity

Leavitt Machinery is looking for a highly organized Sales Coordinator to join our team in Langley, BC. As the Sales Coordinator, you will manage and coordinate purchase orders and invoicing and ensure continual management of processes and documentation.

As the Sales Coordinator your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing coordination and administrative support for the Sales department
  • Processing new orders and updating pertinent information in the CRM system
  • Monitoring shop progress across multiple locations, and providing production updates
  • Communicating updates to Sales Representatives on a weekly basis
  • Issuing purchase orders, receiving vendor invoices, and invoicing customers
  • Coordinating freight and managing freight costs, vendor costs, and prep costs to ensure profit targets are met
  • Complete Profit Sheets as required to ensure budgets and gross margin targets can be achieved
  • Reserving equipment for Sales as approved by the Sales Manager

Required Skills & Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, knowledge, and competencies:

  • 1 to 3 years of experience in an administrative or coordinator role
  • High school diploma required
  • Post-secondary education in Business or a related field preferred but not required
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Previous experience in the heavy equipment industry, or comparable, would be a strong asset
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Previous experience using a CRM system preferred
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast paced and high-volume environment
  • Proven ability to work independently, and effectively manage time and competing tasks
  • Problem-solving skills and analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

The base salary range for this role is: $50,000 to $65,000 per year.

This is a hybrid role based in Langley, BC.
